In addition to technical matters, I give easy-to-understand and polite lessons that include music styles and analysis.

30 minutes: from 3000 yen

★ Intermediate course (those who have been playing musical instruments for several years, who are involved in hobbies or club activities)

40 minutes: from 4000 yen

★ Advanced course (music college, high school entrance examination, music college graduate, etc.)

​ 60 minutes: from 5000 yen

Instructor profile

Satoshi Kobayashi graduated from Kanagawa Prefectural Yokohama Midori-ga-Oka High School and Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, majoring in instrumental music. He served as the concertmaster of the Tokyo Clarinet Philharmonic for 15 years. In 2003, he was invited as a soloist to the regular concert of the Jinju City Symphony Orchestra in South Korea, where he performed Mozart's Clarinet Concerto. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, he participated in the Tokyo Forest Opera conducted by Seiji Ozawa at the Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Hall. In 2006 and 2008, he performed at the Saito Kinen Festival. He has participated as an orchestral player in numerous musicals such as "Elisabeth," "Mozart," and "The Phantom of the Opera." He has participated in performances by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. He has published arrangements from companies such as Japan Shot and Brain, and in 2009, he composed the clarinet quartet “Cyanic Waves," which was published by Metropolis in Belgium. He studied clarinet under Kunio Chiba, Masatake Kaihoko, Yoshiaki Suzuki, and Akira Tsunoda, and chamber music under Ryohei Nakagawa and Masaharu Yamamoto.
