Rossini/The Barber of Seville Overture Clarinet Octet
The Barber of Seville Overture
Clarinet Octet(Eb Cl., Bb Cl. 1,2,3,4, EbAlto Cl. or Bb Cl. 5, Bb Bass Cl. , Bb Contrabass Cl. or Eb Contralto Cl. or Contrabass)
Early romantic composer Rossini was a popular opera composer not only in Italy but also in Europe at that time.
Although he wrote 40 operas, he was very quick writing, but this overture was not in time for the opening of the first day (there is also a theory that the score was lost). He used the opera's overture, "Erisabetta, a Queen in England" as it is. It was this Overture that was staged with such circumstances, but today it has become established as the Overture of "The Barber of Sevilia”.
In this Clarinet octet version, a new termination has been added to shorten and play. You can play in a short version of less than 5 minutes by cutting with Coda symbols on the score.
